Two Chelsea players share shame of being biggest flops in the team

Win lose or draw, we like to take a look at Chelsea’s highest and lowest rated players in a game according to WhoScored’s statistical ranking system.

Yesterday Robert Sanchez was the top scorer – he got a 7.6/10 after a penalty save and a couple of good reaction stops. But even then, his kicking and playing out from the back was awful.

The lowest rated had a plethora of options. In the end it was a tie between Enzo Fernandez and Axel Disasi on 6.0.

There were so many other poor performers out there though. Marc Cucurella was hauled off at half time, which was probably the only thing that preserved his score at 6.6. Raheem Sterling helped bungle a few chances which gave him a 6.1. Thiago Silva was made to look like an old man on a few occasions.

As for the manager – we wonder what score he would have had if such marks were given out?
