(Video): Raheem Sterling gets annoyed at Conor Gallagher as Chelsea score their second

It was scrappy as hell, but Chelsea have managed to force the ball home to earn a second goal at Stamford Bridge.

Cole Palmer was at the heart of things once again, and his penetration of the box caused a scramble between attackers, defenders and goalkeeper that eventually allowed Nicolas Jackson to force the ball in. It was so strange that Raheem Sterling was shouting at Conor Gallagher for getting in his way even as the ball was crossed behind him for Jackson to score.

VAR checked for ages as it seemed certain there would be an offence in there somewhere, but in the end they couldn’t find anything.

That was massively important, and we hope that Stamford Bridge will now fill with a bit of confidence and happiness.
