Craig Burley is not one to give credit to Chelsea lightly, and predictably he was not impressed by the 3-2 win over Luton at the weekend.
The point is well made – Luton ended the game with 2.66 xG and Chelsea just 1.44. We scored great goals, but we gave away far too many chances, and sadly Burley is right. We got away with one here.
We’ve earned a bit of luck this season as we had plenty of unfortunate misses, but we shouldn’t get fooled into thinking we’re a good team suddenly.
