TalkSport had Darren Bent speaking about Mauricio Pochettino today, ahead of a big game against Fulham and following a disappointing semi final defeat to Middlesbrough.
Bent and Andy Goldstein discussed Pochettino’s future, with the latter claiming he “can’t see how Pochettino keeps his job if he doesn’t get Champions League.”
For what it’s worth, we totally disagree. Pochettino may be sacked if we don’t make any European competition at all, but the UCL is out of reach already. They’d have sacked him by now if that was the minimum.

He failed, this squad is talented group that needs coaching with a elite tactical awareness . Poch is lack of it . Chelsea FC needs proper Defensive midfield . Caceido not performing for this club . Enzo / Palmer are the two playmaker of the club they need help and Chelsea FC lack of elite striker so far . NKunKu should be the one but injury prone .I think they should try mudryk upfront as false nine to use his pace . Palmer / noni play in the wing . Enzo behind the trio . Then Desasi/ caceido as pivot drop Gallagher . Badiashile/ colwill as CB rest Silva . Gilchrist RB , Gusto LB . Good luck today .
