Mauricio Pochettino has just spoken to TNT Sports on the pitch, and Joe Cole was straight in there with the tough questions.
Cole asked about Armando Broja, who disappointed last weekend against Preston and then was rested on Tuesday night. Pochettino explained what he wanted from the striker – consistency.
“He needs to not rush in his decisions. He needs to know we trust him and needs to feel confidence and that he’s number one.”
We know what he means. Broja seems like he has some sort of impostor syndrome, as he’s just never had a long enough run in the first team to feel like he’s the main man. This is a great chance for him to do just that.
