Sky Sports spent a couple of minutes today looking at the transfer links connecting Conor Gallagher with a move to Spurs.
They struggle to get their head around it – as well they should. He’s home grown and has been great for us. He’s even captaining the team regularly. Their pundits said it was “unthinkable” that Gallagher would be sold, and that it would be a “disaster” for Chelsea.
At this point, the only reason that this deal would ever be done is because Chelsea are in such deep trouble in terms of FFP. If that’s happened, those who have been in charge of getting us into that mess should be fired instantly.
