The Sun report that Chelsea are ‘jumping into the race’ for Blackburn’s Adam Wharton and will battle Crystal Palace for the midfielder.

Blues’ sporting director Paul Winstanley watched Wharton in action last week after the 19-year-old’s performance against the club in the Carabao Cup earlier this season sparked their interest.
They claim that his club will demand £25m for the midfielder, but also mention that Chelsea might do a buy and loan back deal for the young rising star.
