Mauricio Pochettino is not worried about his Chelsea side playing this badly when they face Liverpool again later this month in the Carabao Cup final.
“For sure it’s going to be different,” he promised reporters after the game last night.
He made the very pertinent point that the game would be at Wembley, not in the fearsome Anfield atmosphere we saw last night.
Although maybe he doesn’t know about how bad our recent record at Wembley is – especially against Liverpool. If we play like we did last night, we’d lose even at Stamford Bridge.
