On ESPN’s Extra Time last night they dealt with the awkward question of whether Mauricio Pochettino should be sacked.
Frank Leboeuf was very much in the “no” camp, despite a tangible lack of improvement or progress from Chelsea all season.
Leboeuf insisted that it’s not Pochettino’s fault, reminding viewers that he had seen this all coming back in the summer and before. “I don’t know what he can do,” the former Chelsea defender lamented.
He still thinks the problem is the squad, not what has been done with it. That still seems to be the majority opinion, but patience will eventually run out.
