Mauricio Pochettino used today’s press conference to ask for more time to build a Chelsea team that can compete.
“I know the quality [we have]… it takes time to build a team,” the manager explained ahead of a massive FA Cup replay against Aston Villa.
He’s right. It takes time to build a top team. It takes time to build a team which will compete with the very best sides in the Premier League in Europe. But it doesn’t take 9 months to improve a team even slightly – something we’ve yet to really see from his efforts.

No time …. Sort out the problem in the pitch . Santos should have been pick than Gallagher . What I see is DCM not strong enough to protect the back . If chalobah is fit to play play him at RB and switch Desasi as DCM to help the back . Silva badiashile/ colwill as CB . Enzo Palmer mudryk NKunKu attack . They need to be alert to close down the attack of opposition .
