News is coming out that Trent Alexander Arnold will be out for a few weeks after aggravating a knee injury, with Paul Joyce of the Times first on the case.
This rules Alexander Arnold out of the Carabao Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool at the end of this month – a boost for Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

Of course they have plenty of other weapons in their squad – let’s not young Conor Bradley started ahead of Trent against us in our recent league game and scored once with two assists.
But we’ll take any good news we can get right now, and this is certainly a big slice of it. We’re missing Reece James, our own TAA equivalent, so we can just hope that his replacement – the increasingly impressive Malo Gusto – can fill in as well as Bradley did.
Now, if only we could get Mo Salah, Alisson, and Virgil Van Dijk injured, we might have a chance…
