Carlton Cole was on TalkSport this week after Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.
He and the callers agreed – it was a win, but it was a last minute win after 90 minutes of very dull sideways passing.
One called picked out an exception to that kind of sterile possession though – Malo Gusto. A caller said he was “the only player who wants to get the ball up the other end of the pitch .”
He’s bang on.
He called him the best signing we’ve made in years, and while there are a few others in there, he would certainly be up there.
