Former Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has aimed shots at Tottenham with a birthday post on her Instagram account.
Marina had a mixed reception really from Chelsea fans across her tenure at the club, working as Roman Abramovich’s director basically being in control of the day to day running of the club.
She left basically when Roman got sanctioned and sold the club, but she has remained active on Instagram and is often seen posting about Chelsea despite not being there anymore. She and the club have some incredible memories together and nobody can deny that she was a big part of Chelsea’s success during the ‘golden era’.
Chelsea fans will certainly love her for her latest post on Instagram, taking aim at local rivals Spurs and their attempted move for Willian back in the day.
Chelsea fans have a song
Willian was a bit of a cult hero at Chelsea and it wasn’t just because he was a good player. He also rejected a move to Tottenham when Chelsea came calling at the final moments of that deal. Blues fans have a song for it that goes:

‘He got the call from Abramovich,
‘And off he went to Stamford Bridge,

As you can see above, Marina put a photo of Willian alongside a birthday message for him that takes a nod to that famous song and the famous transfer hijack that she helped pull off!
