Chelsea & Atletico Paranaense have reportedly agreed a deal that will take Brazilian starlet Nathan to Stamford Bridge, this summer.
Nathan, who plays as an attacking midfielder, starred for Brazil’s Under-17 side, but his form has dipped amid contract issues with his club team in Brazil, Atletico Paranaense.
It has been reported that he wants to leave the club, so he can progress in his career. Globo Esporte say a bid from the West London club has been accepted.
Just turned 19, Nathan would join Lucas Piazon as a young Brazilian at Stamford Bridge, although he is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Nathan would probably follow a similar path to Piazon, to allow Chelsea to observe whether he is ready for their first-team. He will probably spend a few seasons out on loan, to give himself the chance to impress the Chelsea hierarchy.
