Hazard ‘more valuable’ than Ronaldo

Today, The CIES Football Observatory released their results on who the most valuable football players really are.

Out of the top 10, five play their trade in the Premier League – with Eden Hazard ranking higher than Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

When recording their findings, age is taken into consideration. Ronaldo turned 30-years-old this year, whilst Belgian talent Hazard is six-years younger than the Portuguese international.

Zooming into the lead of the results was of course Lionel Messi, who’s value is a staggering £280.8 million.

In sixth, Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling – behind Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero. Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez was also included in the top 10 after a very impressive first season in the best league in England with the Gunners.

In eighth place is Chelsea’s striker Diego Costa, who was vital to the Blues this season – leading them to obvious Premier League glory.

The CIES Football Observatory‘s results recorded that La Liga giants Barcelona have the most valuable team in the world, closely followed by Chelsea, Real Madrid and Arsenal.
