According to reports in Turkey, Arsenal have agreed a deal with Turkish side Fenerbache for the transfer of David Ospina, the Gunners goal keeper, for £3.9 million. Reports the Independent.
With a deal very nearly done to bring Chelsea ‘keeper Petr Cech to the Emirates, HaberTurk have reported that Fenerbache have agreed to a deal to sign the Colombian.
It has been reported that Arsene Wenger wants Wojciech Szczesny  as his no.2 keeper, behind Chelsea’s Cech.
Petr Cech’s preference is Arsenal, after preparing to put his 11 year career at Stamford Bridge to an end in seek of regular first team football. This is something that cannot be promised by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, due to the success of Thibaut Courtois.
It was suggested that Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain were interested in signing the Czech Republic international, but the shot stopper wants to stay in London, as does his family.
Last July, Ospina arrived in the Premier League from Nice for a reported fee of £3 million. He went on to make 20 appearances for the FA Cup winners in all competitions last season.
