According to reports, Liverpool are interested in Mohamed Salah, and could make a move to sign the Egyptian soon.
Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato Web have suggested that Brendan Rodgers and co at the Reds have been watching Salah’s recent situation unfold since the end of the season.
Salah, the former Basel winger, had been poised to his extend his stay at Fiorentina after signing an 18-month-deal at the Italian side back in the January transfer window.
However, it seems that Salah doesn’t want to stay in Florence, but could be heading to the San Siro, if he stays in Italian football to play with Inter.
The situation has alerted Liverpool to his availability, and the report from Calcio Mercato is stating that the Reds made ‘first contact’ with the Premier League champions regarding their out of favour winger.
However, Liverpool won’t rush a deal. They are going to wait until everything between Salah and Fiorentina unfolds, before making an official bid.
