Spurs make bid for Moses

Tottenham are interested in signing Victor Moses from Chelsea, with a price tag potentially rising to £8m.

After learning that playing time at the Blues would be limited again last season, the English winger went out on loan to Stoke, and impressed in several performances under Mark Hughes.

Before his Stoke spell, Moses was loaned out to Liverpool, but still didn’t mange to get as many minutes at Anfield as what he would have been hoping prior to the move. However, it’s understood that the ex-Crystal Palace & Wigan winger is looking to settle in London, ahead of the new campaign that kicks off in under four weeks.

At best, a big future for Moses at Chelsea looks unlikely. So, Chelsea’s Premier League rivals, Tottenham, are interested in signing the Nigerian international.

With Andros Townsend looking to depart White Hart Lane, seeking more playing time, Spurs are on the lookout for another wide man, a position Moses could fit.

Another winger exit bound from Spurs is Aaron Lennon, with Everton hoping to sign the Englishman on a permanent deal following his loan at Goodison Park last season.

The Mirror are suggesting that Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino, has chosen Chelsea’ Moses as the replacement he wants to bring in.

With Pedro’s move to Chelsea looking likely, Victor Moses could be sold to free up squad space and funds available.

Jose Mourinho is really interested in Pedro from Barcelona, and could splash £22m on the Spanish winger.
