Chelsea have revealed Fluminense have given Kenedy permission to train with Chelsea on their pre-season tour in North America. The 19 year old has travelled to our Canadian training base in Montreal to meet his future team mates and has taken part in our training session yesterday (Thursday) and today (Friday).
It is expected that the Brazilian will be announced as a Chelsea player in the near future. However Oscar has already welcomed his country-man on Instagram.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Kenedy will cost Chelsea £6.3m million ($10m). Chelsea have beaten the likes of Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus and Wolfsburg in the battle to sign him from Fluminense. He will be Chelsea’s fourth signing of the summer.
Kenedy has represented Brazil at both the Under 17 and Under 20 level. He made 13 appearances for the Under 17s scoring 6 goals and made 7 appearances for the Under 20s, scoring 1 goal. For Fluminense in the league he’s made 30 appearances, only scoring 2 goals.
