Chelsea Football Club have expressed their disappointment in the FA for it’s decision to ban Diego Costa three games after charging him with violent conduct.
Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0 in the Premier League in a game which was full of controversies as Costa and Lurent Koscielny were involved in exchanges that attracted Gabriel Paulista. Gabriel was later shown the exit after he kicked out at Costa but the FA later on Tuesday rescinded the decision but banned Costa for three games.
Chelsea have released a statement to express their disappointment in the FA’s decision and say they will take further action when the FA provide written reasons.
We are extremely disappointed with the FA Regulatory Commission’s decision to suspend Diego Costa. We will await their written reasons before commenting further.
