Chelsea are continuing their Premier League matches on Saturday 7th October at 17:30 (GMT) at the Britannia Stadium against Stoke.
The team will look similar to how the starting 11 lined up against Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday in the Champions League group stage match at home which we won 2-1, the team that we played was a strong team against Dynamo Kiev which we will play again against Stoke.
Striker
Diego Costa: Diego will be our main attacking option and will also be backed up with other players such as Hazard, Willian and Fabregas. He will be a key player for Chelsea during the match as he has the strength in the box to get goalscoring opportunities and be a threat to Stoke’s defence.
Midfielders
LM – Willian: Willian will continue with his place in the starting 11. He will bring goal scoring opportunities and if they are from set-pieces he may get his name on the score sheet. He will also bring pace to our team which is what we will need.
CAM – Cesc Fabregas: Cesc will continue his Premier League appearances for Chelsea. After his dip in form compared to last season; he will be given the opportunity to continue in the starting 11. He will bring goal scoring opportunities and pace to the team.
CDM – Ramires: Ramires will also continue his place in Chelsea’s starting 11. The past few games he has been bringing great goalscoring opportunities to the team and also has been playing well in the past few matches will secure his place in the starting 11.
CDM – Nemanja Matic: Nemanja will coninue his place in Chelsea’s Premier League starting 11 bringing options to the team for both attacking and defending when needed.
RM – Eden Hazard: Eden will also continue his apperances for Chelsea in the Premier League. Bringing the team the amazing ability and pace that we all know that he has which could create goal scoring opportunities and give us a great attacking option in the match.
Defenders
RB – Kurt Zouma: Kurt will continue his place in Chelsea’s starting 11. He has great pace to bring to our defence and marks players and defends well so will continue in the starting 11.
CB – John Terry (Captain): John will lead the team out for the match. He will keep our defence solid and keep the structure and control in the defence. He will also keep the players under control letting them know what to do, who they need to mark and where abouts on the pitch they need to be.
CB – Gary Cahill: Gary will continue his Premier League appearances in the starting 11. He will also keep the defence solid and will give more structure to our defence.
LB – Cesar Azpilicueta: Cesar will continue his place in the starting 11. He marks players well and successfully and will with the others help to keep our defence solid.
Goalkeeper
Asmir Begovic: Asmir will continue his position in between the goal for Chelsea’s match away to Stoke. Whilst Chelsea wait for the injured Thibaut Courtois to recover from his injury which was caused in training and is expected to be back in the next month or so depending on how fast his recovery is; There is not better goalkeeper to take his place in the team than Asmir so he will continue with his place in the starting 11.
Subs: Marco Amelia, Baba Rahman, Branislav Ivanovic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy, Pedro, Loic Remy.
