The board got it wrong, the players are to blame

News is out, Mourinho has been sacked. A wrongful sacking by the board which will not be accepted by the fans.

Jose Mourinho is the clubs most successful manager and after a woeful 4 months in the 2015/16 season, he has not been given the chance to show his resilience and his true managerial ability in times of turmoil. The fans backed Mourinho and Abramovich betrayed those fans.

The club have already lost 9 league games this season and 12 all season (including the Community Shield).

Mourinho was more than a manager, he was a fan, a man who loved the club as much as the people watching at home or in the stands. Mourinho was sacked because he put faith in players who didn’t want to play for him. Key players from last years campaign have been under performing; Fabregas, Costa, Hazard, Ivanovic, Terry and Matic have been woeful.

The club didn’t support Mourinho during the transfer window; the club allowed Didier Drogba and Petr Cech to depart this summer, the club have now only got 1 leader in JT.

Continuing with the summer dealings they failed to get any targets and left it too late for any alternatives, the club chased John Stones for so long but stupidly went for PSG’s Marquinhos on deadline day and ended up with Papy Djilobodji and Michael Hector who will probably not make any appearances for the club.

Petr Cech was replaced well by Asmir Begovic who has been one of our shining lights this season. Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma and Willian have also be main reason why we are in the Champions league group stage.

Mourinho cannot be blamed for having to manager a squad where 8/10 players are in a poor run of form. Baba Rahman was clearly not a Mourinho signing and has continued to play Azpilicueta at left-back despite Ivanovic’s poor form.

The board and the players should be ashamed. Since Abramovich’s arrival the club has till not been able to have any stability in the managerial role, Mourinho could’ve been that man but the club have yet again made a bad decision.

The club wishes to make clear Jose leaves us on good terms and will always remain a much-loved, respected and significant figure at Chelsea. His legacy at Stamford Bridge and in England has long been guaranteed and he will always be warmly welcomed back to Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho will always be welcomed back with open arms but tension will always be very high between the Portuguese manager and owner: Roman Abramovich. When asked who was my favourite Chelsea manager of all time, I will always say Jose Mourinho. #TheSpecialOne
