Barcelona rule out loaning Chelsea winger

It has been reported that Barcelona are not interested in signing former winger Pedro back on loan, and are putting all their concentration on trying to pull off the signing of Nolito from fellow La Liga side, Celta Vigo.

The Spanish international left the Nou Camp for a life at Stamford Bridge back in August, but has failed to make a real impression following his switch, with regular appearances only coming from the bench – under both Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink.

Goal have reported, quoting Spanish media outlet Diario SPORT, that Catalan boss Luis Enrique regrets the decision he made when allowing Pedro to depart, and that the was potential for a loan deal to take place until the end of the season.

The La Liga giants are attempting to sign a new forward in this current transfer window to provide back-up for Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, but the manager has ruled out loaning Pedro, which would have given the winger a Barcelona return.
