Chelsea are delighted to announce that Ruben Loftus-Cheek has today signed a new contract with the club until 2021.
The 20-year-old star promise has appeared in 13 games for the senior side so far, making his debut in December 2014 against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League and getting his first taste of the top-flight a month later against Manchester City in a 1-1 draw after being subbed on.
In 2015 he officially became a first-team regular, making his first home start against Liverpool in the very end of the season, impressing the contemporary manager José Mourinho and so getting more time in the future as well.

The England U21 midfielder described his happiness of signing a contract extension with Chelsea to the club’s official website:
I’m delighted to sign a new contract at Chelsea and my focus is on working hard in training every day in order to push on and establish myself in the team. It really means a lot because this shows the club believe in me so I’m really happy.
The club have done so much for me since I started here as an Under-8 and now I want to repay the faith they’ve shown in me with my performances on the pitch.
