Although the German international has only just completed a move to AS Roma, Antonio Rudiger could be on his way to Stamford Bridge in a €22 million swoop.
La Repubblica has reported that Rudiger’s agent met up with Chelsea’s Marina Granovskaia to discuss personal terms for the centre-back; with Roma want €22 million for him as they look to make profit on the €9 million they spent to make the deal permanent only 2 days ago.
Incoming Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has put signing a new centre-back at the top of his priorities as Chelsea’s miserable title defence lead to them leaking 53 goals as they finished tenth.
There is speculation that Charly Musonda will be part of the deal, but do not worry Chelsea fans, it will only be a loan deal for the Belgian.
