Chelsea are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Leicster City midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer, according to Metro.
Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri has reported that the Blues’ contact has been triggered by AS Roma putting Radja Nainggolan’s proposed move to Stamford Bridge on hold, moving Chelsea’s interest on the Frenchman instead.

Nainggolan has been linked with the club for multiple times during the closing stages of last season with the reports growing even bigger towards the summer transfer window.
However, Kante has also been a widely rumoured target for the West London side, leading the club to a bid war with Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Chelsea are looking to hire a quality defensive midfielder this summer as Nemanja Matic could be heading to an exit from the club following a bad run of games last season.
Kante was one of Leicester’s most influential players in their road to a surprising Premier League triumph in the 2015/16 campaign.
