Eden Hazard reveals his club for next season

After months of speculation where the player would end up after a disappointing season in Chelsea, Eden Hazard has revealed the club he will play for next season.

The Belgium international – who has been widely linked with a move to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United – has put an end to the transfer rumours by claiming to stay and fight for his place under the new manager Antonio Conte.

When asked if he would be looking to remain at Stamford Bridge next season, he told The Sun: “Yes, PSG are not part of my plans.

“I have a contract until 2020, I feel good here and I don’t want to finish on a season like that.

“I left Lille as a boss, and I’d like to leave Chelsea as a boss, if I do leave one day. But for the time being I’m here, of course.”

Hazard has been linked with a move to Old Trafford following José Mourinho's appointment as the new Manchester United boss.

Asked about his poor performances for the West London club last season, he answered: “Everything was complicated, it was difficult.

“Honestly, for five or six years I’d always been at my best and this was the first season where it was more difficult.

“But everyone knows that in a career there are highs and lows.

“For the time being, touch wood, I’ve only experienced the highs — except for this season, when it wasn’t quite as good.

“But it was meant to happen this season. I hope it doesn’t happen again next season.”

The Chelsea star suffered a frustrating campaign, scoring just six goals despite being awarded as the Premier League’s Player of the Year the season before.
