Kurt Zouma schedules his return date by end of 2016

The incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has received some delightful news regarding the Blues defender Kurt Zouma, who revealed to have been making some good process on his knee injury he suffered in February.

After making his debut for the West London club in Sebtember 2014, the young Frenchman has made crucial improvement on his football skills and is hailed as one of the league’s most promising players.

Speaking to The Sun this week about his condition, Zouma seemed very relaxed and hopeful ahead of his return.

I don’t know when I’ll be back out on the pitch but everything is going well, I’m kicking the ball around a bit – I’m not in any pain and I feel good.

The 21-year-old was meant to be part of France’s team in this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament, but due to his injury the player will have to experience his comeback in a Chelsea shirt.

When asked if he could make his reappearance during this calendar year, Zouma said:

I hope so; I think I’ve got enough time to be ready. But I don’t have a precise date.

There’s no doubting that Conte will make use of the center-back when he gets back fit, as for Zouma’s young age it’s spectacular how he has already made 132 outings during his career in all competitions, and two appearances for the national team.
