The incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly braced to convince Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro Rodriguez they indeed have a future at the club, Mirror claims.
Pedro, who was signed from Barcelona last summer, has been linked with a return to the Spanish giants, while Azpilicueta has also attracted interest from Athletic Bilbao and José Mourinho’s Manchester United.
However, the Italian boss wants to keep the two Spain internationals in his next season’s plans, and is looking to convince them to stay at the club.
Both of the players were part of Spain’s national team in this summer’s Euro 2016, and after the Italians had knocked Vicente Del Bosque’s side out of the competition with a fine 2-0 win on Tuesday, Conte held a talk with the two Chelsea players.

Despite Conte’s hands-off warning, his talk hasn’t put an end to Athletic Bilbao’s interest, as the Spanish are still plotting a £12m bid for the highly-regarded full-back.
Azpilicueta has been a huge success since making a move to Chelsea from Olympique de Marseille back in 2012, and will hopefully keep the good run going by avoiding a move anywhere else at this time.
Azpilicueta made one appearance for Spain in Euros in a 3-0 win over Turkey, while Pedro came on from the bench twice against Czech Republic and Italy.
