After being loaned out for three successive seasons, Victor Moses is finally back in the Chelsea register, as new Blues boss Antonio Conte is determined to hand him a future at Stamford Bridge, Evening Standard reports.
Moses signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2012 after our Champions League triumph on a £9m deal from Wigan Athletic. However, he soon became a forgotten man despite an impressive debut season scoring ten goals during the campaign.
The Nigeria international has not stopped trying in spite of being overlooked by several managers, even if he had been the most impressive player during pre-season games, and might have finally been granted his boon for the effort.
After scoring his first goal for Chelsea in yesterday’s EFL Cup victory over Bristol Rovers, the 25-year-old told how happy he is to have secured his return to the West London club.
I was excited to get on the score-sheet, it was important for me as well as for the team.
I’ve always believed in the ability and the talent I’ve got and I’d like the fans to know there’s still a lot to come from me.
Chelsea fans have remained faithful for Moses during his time away, referring the winger as Agent Moses for his up-and-down performances while on loan at West Ham, Liverpool and Stoke City.
And, it finally seems he has found himself a manager to share that trust, as according to reports, Chelsea rejected a transfer offer from West Bromwich for Moses this month, as Conte is determined to keep the player at the Bridge.

Every pre-season I feel I’ve done well and it’s just about being given a chance. That was the thing that was missing. I’ve got that with this manager now.
While Moses looks to stay, Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado is reportedly on the move as Conte feels he’s not needed this season. Juventus, where the Colombian spent last season on loan, have emerged as favourites to land the player on yet another loan deal, with an option to buy at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
