Antonio Conte has received a huge boost ahead of Chelsea’s return to the Premier League, as captain John Terry could return against Leicester City this Saturday, London Evening Standard reports.
Chelsea are confident that the 35-year-old will be back from his ankle ligament injury this week after missing out on three league games and an EFL Cup tie while recovering.
Terry was initially ruled out for just 10 days, but training setbacks complicated the hopeful quick return.

He injured his ankle on the final minutes of the Premier League clash at Swansea which ended 2-2, and the Blues skipper was forced to leave the Liberty Stadium with crutches.
Conte granted Terry alongside the rest of the squad a weekend off, but the players are set to return to action once the international break concludes on Wednesday morning.
Last time out Chelsea played with three men at the back, as the Blues cruised into a delightful 2-0 victory over Premier League new boys Hull City.

Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill performed in the center-back roles, while Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses were the up-and-down running wing-backs.
Conte will decide in the coming days whether he’ll be resuming with the same defenders and system, or perhaps tucking in Terry to face Claudio Ranieri’s men after being sidelined for almost a month.
