Diego Costa declared fit after international break set-back

Chelsea’s top one goalscorer Diego Costa has delivered a huge boost to the squad after passing fit ahead of Sunday’s Premier League visit to Middlesbrough, The Sun have today reported.

The Brazil-born Spaniard was ruled out of all the international break action with Spain due to a groin injury which he suffered in the opening training ahead of the side’s World Cup 2018 qualifier against FYR Macedonia last week.

However, the 28-year-old striker has succeeded to shake it off and is declared fit to play in Chelsea’s next game when they travel to face Boro on Sunday evening.

Fellow Blues forward Eden Hazard was also tipped to miss the upcoming league fixture due to a calf injury, but recent news gave Antonio Conte relieving news claiming the Belgian to be fully fit to return to club football this weekend.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Thibaut Courotis are also expected to get over their knocks from the international break and be able to start on Sunday.
