What on Earth has Pedro got to do to score today?
In the first half he was denied by an extraordinary save by Victor Valdes, and he’s just been denied again – this time by the woodwork.
David Luiz played a perfectly executed ball into the penalty area towards Diego Costa, who nodded it down for Pedro. The Spaniard looked to have found the top corner with an exquisite left-footed finish, but it cannoned off the crossbar and away.
It remains 1-0 to the Blues.
