According to various reports, Chelsea are looking to replace Oscar with Uruguayan midfielder Diego Laxalt, as the Brazilian is close to make a £52m switch to Chinese Super League this January.
The 23-year-old played for Inter Milan prior to his transfer to Genoa, where he currently is a key player for the team. His agent, Vincenzo D’lppolito, reveals that Antonio Conte is a big fan of the player, and a lot of other clubs are looking to capture the promising talent.
Obviously there are many clubs who follow him. In Genoa there are always plenty of observers. In Italy there is Fiorentina who is keeping an eye on him and already wanted to take him, but it is not the only one.
Especially foreign demands from the Premier League. Chelsea? it is one of the clubs because Conte saw him in Italy, knows his qualities and would like to bring them to England.
Surely a club is a club that tends to sell because it thinks so much of its own budget and to generate profits from capital gains

Laxalt is a very versatile attacking midfielder, who mainly operates at the center but is also able to play on the left. He’s valued around €15m (£12m) by the Serie A side.
As Oscar’s big-money move is getting very likely to happen, Chelsea would prefer to pull a replacement as soon as possible, with the young Uruguayan a promising option.
