For the third time inside a week, Chelsea are playing again! When you’re unable to qualify to the Champions or Europa League, you rarely have to go through such a busy schedule, but during the festive season, we’re all part of it!
After scrappy back-to-back 1-0 wins over West Bromwich and Sunderland, Chelsea will be playing Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park today, and there will be a better performance needed to overcome the Eagles and extend our magnificent winning streak to eleven games.
Antonio Conte has made up his mind concidering the starting line-up, and a few changes from our trip to Stadium of Light can be noticed.
Thibaut Courotis played extremely well last time out and resumes between the sticks, and the same defensive line remains as well. Eden Hazard, however, is back in the starting eleven after missing Chelsea’s last game due to a minor injury.
Despite a great performance against the Black Cats, Cesc Fabregas is dropped back to the bench, and Nemanja Matic steps in. Willian starts ahead of Pedro.
