Joe Hart’s loan move to Torino has always been a short term move, and the chances of it being made permanent have never looked great. In recent weeks, with Loris Karius struggling, it has been Liverpool that have headed the list of Premier League teams linked with the England keeper.
However now the Daily Mirror are suggesting that we might be interested in the stopper too.
The basis for this is that Thibaut Courtois wants to move to Real Madrid – at least that’s what the rumours say – and we will need a replacement.
Frankly, while Joe Hart is a decent player, he’s more of the Asmir Begovic calibre than the Courtois calibre, so we would be hoping to sign a player of a higher class than that. In any case, let’s hope the rumours about Thibaut aren’t true, and we can continue with the Belgian between the sticks for a very long time.
