Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly interested in signing Lazio duo – centre-back Stefan De Vrij and attacking midfielder Anderson – at the end of the season, Evening Standard claims.

The Blues scouts were spectating the two players in Lazio’s 2-1 victory over Atalanta in the crucial Serie A clash on Sunday afternoon, where De Vrij played the full 90 minutes, while Anderson was subbed eight minutes before the full-time whistle.

The Italian manager made a £21m bid for De Vrij last summer, but was rebuffed as the club want at least £35m for the Netherlands international.

He’s unlikely to sign a new contract after turning down a new offer for several times, and is set to look for a new club at the end of the season with Manchester United also keen on the 24-year-old.

Conte is also a big fan of Anderson, who is available for a similar price, but has major interest from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
