Moussa Dembele ‘nailed on’ to make £40m Chelsea move this summer

Celtic FC striker Moussa Dembele is reportedly on his way out of the club this summer, and according to ESPN pundit and former Chelsea player Craig Burley Stamford Bridge will be his likeliest destination.

The France U21 international has been targeted by a host of Premier League clubs this season as Dembele’s spectacular performances have attracted plenty of attention.

His back-to-back hat-tricks in Celtic’s recent games show exactly how he’s way too good to settle for the Scottish Premiership, where the Bhoys are flying high on top of the table.

Burley also thinks that Dembele is ‘head and shoulders’ above the other players of the league, and recons that a big-money move to West London could be happening after the season comes to a close.

“Scottish football is quite embarrassing at the moment in terms of the standard but he is head and shoulders [above the rest]. He’s a good player and is young.

Chelsea, I’m hearing, are the favourites [to sign him]. Talking to one or two guys I know back in Scotland, they said he is pretty much nailed on to go to Chelsea and possibly for around £40m.”

The 20-year-old Frenchman has bagged 13 goals and six assists, becoming a key player in Celtic’s push for the league title.

Celtic have won 24 of their 25 league games this season, drawing once, which really shows the level of the competition out there.
