Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Rangers wonderkid Billy Gilmour, according to repots in the Metro.
Manchester City have also been linked to the teenager, and Rangers are still hopeful they can persuade him to stay in Glasgow with promises of a fast track to the first team.
As the youngster is under 16 he cannot yet be bought, but with his birthday just months away, the sharks are circling waiting and preparing their offers to tempt him to their respective academies.
Rumours have been circling over the last few weeks about a potential move for the youngster, with Chelsea favourite Pat Nevin coming out recently to encourage the youngster to take the risk of a move south of the border. Nevin claimed that while not every player gets a chance in the first team at the Bridge, the loan system is proving increasingly effective at developing players, even if their future lies away from Stamford Bridge.
