Juventus chasing unhappy Chelsea forward who wants summer switch

Juventus are reportedly stepping up the chase for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, who is tipped to leave the club either on loan or permanently this summer following a poor debut season at Stamford Bridge.

According to reports in Italy, Juve see the Belgium international as a back-up for the team’s two star strikers Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.

Chelsea signed the 23-year-old from Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille for £32m last summer, but is already linked for a move away from the England capital.

Batshuayi-Alderweireld

His status under Antonio Conte this season has seen the frontman spend as long as two days on the bench for the Blues (combining each minute) and is desperate for more first-team action.

Juventus are not prepared to offer as much as Chelsea paid for Batshuayi last summer, and are also open to clinch a loan deal for him.

Chelsea’s number one striker Diego Costa is also being tipped to leave the club at the end of the season with a mega offer from China awaiting for his response.
