Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly urging the club to finance transfers for two Premier League stars – Southampton defender Virgil Van Dijk and Everton hit-man Romelu Lukaku.
According to Daily Mirror the two players are one of Conte’s top priorities for this summer’s transfer window as the Italian tactician is determined to bolster his all ranks ahead of Chelsea’s awaited return to the Champions League.

The Blues have been head and shoulders above the rest this season with a big chance for double coming up in their four-point lead at the top of the league table and FA Cup final at the end of the term against Arsenal.
Despite the recent success Chelsea still have areas to improve in for next season and Conte believes that the club is currently in a transitional period looking to replace departing club veterans with new long-term signings.

Van Dijk would be a great signing considering John Terry’s departure at the end of the season, while Lukaku is showing his most for Everton this season to get Chelsea to resign him.
The two could cost somewhere around £120m for Chelsea, and with Branislav Ivanovic and John Obi Mikel also having left the club during this campaign still yet to be aptly replaced, Roman Abramovich might need to widen his wallet quite a lot ahead of net summer.
