Chelsea’s midfield maestro Cesc Fabregas is reportedly set to reject a £30m summer move to AC Milan in hope of staying at Stamford Bridge and fighting for his place in the starting line-up, Evening Standard reports.
The Spain international has been struggling to lock up his position in Chelsea’s starting line-up this season, as he has mostly played his part off the bench.
AC Milan and many other sides have thus begun to monitor him, but he has said he won’t be signing for the Serie A side or any other Italian team as he prefers to stay at Chelsea.

However, he has started more games during 2017 and is constantly being involved in goals either by scoring himself or setting them up for his team-mates.
The 29-year-old has scored four goals and provided nine assists in just 1075 minutes of Premier League football, which means he’s being involved in a goal every 83 minutes. An astonishing record to keep up!
Rumours have also suggested that Chelsea would be planning to offer Fabregas a new contract to keep him at the club until 2020, with the salary of £150,000-a-week unchanged from his current deal.
