Tammy Abraham was named Bristol City's Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Top Goalscorer for his this season's stellar performances.

Record breaking Chelsea striker to double wages

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is set to receive a massive pay rise following an exceptional season in the Championship.

The forward has been tearing up the English second tier, scoring 26 goals (a record for a teenager in that division) in all competitions so far this season on loan at relegation threatened Bristol City, and unsurprisingly the Englishman has all manner of clubs interested in his services in the future.

The Evening Standard cites Everton, Leicester and newly promoted Brighton among the sides looking to bring the youngster in on loan next term.

As well as his short term future, the Blues are also interested in securing Abraham in the long term, especially after all but confirming they will lose Dom Solanke in the summer. He is on £25,000 a week already, but his success in senior football means Chelsea are willing to double that. It seems like a fair deal for a striker whose potential is still growing.
