Eden Hazard to stay following Chelsea’s big promise

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has been strongly linked with a transfer to Real Madrid recently, with the Spanish side reportedly ready to table a world record transfer fee in order to land him this summer.

Despite the lucrative offer, Antonio Conte is reluctant to let his key player leave, and the club have promised Hazard to sign at least two world-class players as they prepare to challenge for big things in the Champions League next season.

Le 10 report that this promise has helped Hazard to make up his mind about his future and is now prepared to snub a move to Real Madrid and stay at Chelsea.

The 26-year-old flying winger has been a vital player for Conte’s side this season as his 15 league goals and five assists have helped the Blues towards their fifth Premier League title and final place in the FA Cup.

Chelsea are also reportedly planning to offer Hazard a new five-year contract.
