Chelsea fans might feel like laughing and crying at the same time whilst reading such papertalk, but it’s our job to bring you the latest news and rumours, so here’s a very silly one.
FC Barcelona have reportedly placed Antonio Conte in their shortlist for the potential successor of Luis Enrqiue, which is very understandable considering how well the manager has done during his maiden season at the club.

However, even with one of the world’s greatest clubs offering him a job, it’s very unlikely that Conte would snub the Blues after just one season in charge, as he has already denied that he’s not the kind of a boss that would come and leave right after the campaign has closed.
Well, the funniest part of the news is that according to The Sunday Express (via Metro), Chelsea have made Russian manager Leonid Slutsky their top target to step in for the Italian tactician should the club be unable to persuade him with a new contract.
Slutsky has a good relationship with Blues owner Roman Abramovich, but even in the worst case scenario, the club would never hire someone who’s been out of a job since December and failed horribly with the national side, only winning trophies at the Russian top-flight.
