Antonio Conte to be given £240m transfer funds and 70% pay rise

Antonio Conte could be offered a deal that no manager could ever turn down, as Chelsea are set to back the Italian to sign as many as four new players this summer in a potential £240m raid, TeamTalk suggests.

Conte will have big things in his mind as he’s looking to bolster his squad big time for next season’s return to the Champions League football.

He is also likely to be offered a new five-year deal worth a stunning £10m-a-year (£50m in total), with also the freedom to choose his own preferred backroom staff with current assistant coach Steve Holland ready to leave the club for Gareth Southgate’s England set-up.

Conte’s current deal still has two more years to run, but with intensive interest from Serie A side Inter Milan – who yesterday sacked their current boss Stefano Pioli, Chelsea will need to act quickly to tie up the former Juventus boss for a long run.

The 46-year-old is just one win away from clinching the Premier League title on his maiden season in England, and has a chance to triumph a double in the FA Cup final against Arsenal at the end of the month.

It would be a crazy money to pay a manager to, but if that’s what it takes to get Conte to stay at Stamford Bridge, go on and do it!
