Chelsea are set to receive a shocking swap offer from Real Madrid, as the Spanish giants are ready to give up their star man Gareth Bale in exchange for Eden Hazard, Don Balon suggests.
The Welsh international has been ruled out with injuries – mainly calf and ankle problems – for a strong amount games this season, and the club are reportedly fed up with the player’s inability to remain fit.
Real have been circling around Hazard for a long time now and have been planning to make a world-record bid to land the Belgian international this summer according to various speculation.
They’ve now decided to turn on to a different plan, as they hope to lure Chelsea into making business with them by offering the 27-year-old ex-Spurs star in exchange for the Blues’ star forward.
It’s very unlikely that Chelsea would take on such deal into consideration, as they’re much more likely to offer Hazard a huge contract extension to ward off Real Madrid for good.
