Chelsea will make a bid for a new wing back after the Champions League final this weekend according to the Metro.
The Blues are said to be chasing Alex Sandro, the left-sided Juventus wing back who has impressed for the team from Turin after breaking into the side over the past two seasons.
The Brazilian would be the ideal competition for Marcos Alonso down Chelsea’s left side, and manager Antonio Conte will know him well from watching his former club in recent years.
It won’t be easy to sign the 26 year old, who has a serious price tag and is already competing with a team that is regularly reaching Champions League finals. But with a heavy wage rise, you never know what you can achieve.
Arsenal are also said to be linked with the former Porto man, but their chances of securing his signature are even lower than ours given they have no Champions League football.
