Tammy Abraham’s future has already been a hot topic in this fledgling transfer window. The forward has come off a superb season with Bristol City in the Championship and looks ready for a step up to the Premier Division, although picking a team where he will play week in week out is essential.
Newcastle had looked a great bet, and were heavy favourites to sign the striker, but rumours in the Brighton Argus claim that Abraham would prefer to be based closer to his home in Surrey. It seems unlikely that such a factor would factor into the player’s decision, but Brighton would actually be a decent option for the forward too.
Chris Hughton’s team also looked ready for a go at the Premier League, and the former Norwich coach has a proven track record improving young English players. Abraham’s route to the first team at Brighton seems even clearer than his one at Newcastle.
