Chelsea were victorious over Everton last night, triumphing the Toffees 2-1 at Stamford Bridge to proceed to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
The draw for the fifth round fixtures was made on Thursday at 05:00pm UK time, after an hour’s delay due to ‘minor technical problems’. After waiting for a while, the Blues were eventually drawn to face AFC Bournemouth at home on December 18th.
The opposition qualified for the fifth round of the tournament by winning Championship side Middlesbrough 3-1Â on Tuesday night.
Bournemouth are currently sitting 19th in the league with just seven points in their hand, having won just two games in the league this term.
The rest of the fixtures see league rivals Manchester United face Bristol City away and Manchester City traveling to play Leicester City at King Power Stadium.
Meanwhile, Arsenal host London rivals West Ham, who knocked out Tottenham Hotspur in a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory at the Wembley on Wednesday night.
